Your Disney Obsessed, Jesus Lovin' Hair Bestie Hi! I'm April Dittmar! I am a hairstylist and makeup artist in the DFW area of Texas. I got my cosmetology license back in 2020 - quite literally the day before the world shut down. I thought my life was over, but by the grace of God, I found my place in this industry. It has been quite the journey, but it's such a good story and one that I'd love to share with you! I'm so glad you're here! My Specialties I love creating colors that look like it could be your natural. From subtle to dimensional, bright blondes to bold red heads and coppers to even grey blending, I'm all for it. The other half of my heart lies with special event styling and makeup. I love creating hair masterpieces and makeup that makes you feel glam and girly, but still like yourself. Outside of the Salon I am recently (Feb. 1, 2025) married to my sweet husband, Preston. We love to watch movies and play games together. We are really close with both of our families, so you can find us spending time with them and our new nephews. My absolute favorite hobby/activity is country line dancing. We have a group that goes every week and we have the best time! Also, I am *slightly* Disney obsessed. It just brings me so much joy and I'm a sucker for a good fairytale and a little bit of magic!  My Mission The beauty industry was not my first choice. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Then one day, the Lord put it on my heart and I went for it. It has been the wildest ride I have ever been on, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. My ultimate passion is people. I believe we are designed for relationships and to walk through this life with each other. I want my chair to be a space where you can cry, laugh, vent, relax, or do whatever it is you need to do and I'll be there crying, laughing, listening, or remaining silent with you. You are so special and beautiful and I want you to feel that every time you sit in my chair. I can't wait to meet you!
